Mission:
The mission of Pittsford PTSA's After School Enrichment Program is to provide safe and supervised after-school educational, enriching and/or recreational programs for school-age children in grades K-5. PRE PTSA chooses programs based on their individual demographics, interest level, and parent commitment. The building principal must approve all programs.

How can I volunteer to help?:
After School Enrichment Programs can not happen without parent volunteers. To offer a club, we must have an instructor, a Lead Parent, and 2 volunteers present at each session. While we sometimes bring in paid instructors from local businesses for our clubs, we also welcome parents to share their expertise, hobbies, and passions with the students by volunteering to teach a club. Prefer to support rather than lead? That's great! We also need volunteers to help make these clubs possible! See descriptions and responsibilities in the Related Files section below. Please email the ASE Leadership Team if you are able to volunteer to help make these programs happen.

Offerings:
Park Road typically offers 3 sessions of programming: Fall, Winter, and Spring. We have previously offered clubs such as: Chess, Lego, Rainbow, Percussion Power Hour, Art, and Yoga. There are always opportunities for additional programing as well! If you are interested in leading a new program, please email our ASE Leadership Team!

Student Opportunity Fund: If registering your child(ren) for an ASE program poses a financial hardship or strain on your family, please email School Counselor, Robyn Paino, to secure necessary financial assistance through a confidential conversation.

Inclusion Opportunities: PRE PTSA values diversity and inclusion and would like our programs to be accessible to all students. If your student has special needs and would like to participate in After School Enrichment opportunities, TIES is a great program that can help make that happen! Together Including Every Student (TIES) is a Pittsford Central School District program that promotes belonging and participation for young people with special needs in extracurricular and community activities. Trained high school and middle school student volunteers provide the individualized support needed by TIES participants in a spirit of fun and learning. The student partnerships formed are based on shared interests and provide a natural impetus to friendship building among group members. If you would like more information about the TIES program, please visit their website or send an e-mail to the TIES Coordinator.
