Fun Run Fundraiser - Save the Date - October 2nd, 2026

Park Road Elementary School will be holding its third annual Fun Run fundraiser on Friday, October 2nd. This is Park Road's one-and-ONLY fundraiser for the year.

Registration for the Fundraiser opens on September 16th! Your student will bring home a fidget with a registration QR code. Please go to MyBooster.com or use the QR code to sign them up for the fundraiser! Please share your child(ren)'s donation page to help spread the word.

We encourage our Park Road kids to register to run/walk, collect pledges, and earn donations their participation in the Fun Run. The Fun Run is a fitness-based fundraiser that highlights the importance of community-building and teamwork. Students can run or walk with friends, do cartwheels, and always take a break as necessary.

Before the event, every student will receive a free t-shirt from Park Road PTSA that will act as their grade-level t-shirt for all events for the rest of the year (the Fun Run, field trips, Field Day, spirit days, etc.). We won't be doing any prizes based on fundraising levels this year. Instead, each student, regardless of whether they raise funds, will also receive a small token to kick off the Fun Run and a popsicle for their participation upon completing the Fun Run. If we meet our goal, we will also hold a celebration for the whole school.

We have found that a successful PRE community-supported Fun Run can raise enough money to support all of our Park Road PTSA programs (Art Ambassador, Science Action, Field Trips/Assemblies, Teacher Appreciation, etc.) and events (Welcome Back Family Night, International Night, the Fall Festival, Ice Cream Social, etc.), as well as fun and meaningful extras, for our families, teachers, and staff all year long. 

Last year, we raised over $31,000! In addition to our regular PTSA programs, we used these funds to hold admission-free events, pay for field trips and assemblies, subsidize yearbooks, purchase a new outdoor gaga pit, a new bike rack, outdoor and indoor recess supplies, approve enrichment grants (three new cameras for yearbook club, new ukuleles for the music program, new SEL books for each classroom based on Habits of Mind themes, sand tracing trays, Field Day frisbees, a free ice cream cup for each Park Road student, walkie talkies to promote safety, new cones and signs for the bus loop, a wireless bluetooth speaker and PA system, a putting set and putter ball game for a new gym class unit), buy new hardcover books for the library,  provide financial support for our PRE Odyssey of the Mind team, hold two coffee truck appreciation visits for teachers and staff, and so much more.
